Clothes Make the Man

I watched Time Bandits with my son the other night. It’s been at least 25 years since I’ve seen that movie! I remember not being able to turn it off as a boy. It is funny watching movies as an adult that you last watched as a child. You notice all kinds of things that you would have never noticed as a child. In this case, the Supreme Being‘s suit really stood out to me. Sir Ralph Richardson‘s tailor was impeccable!

A Google search indicates that his tailor MAY have been Anderson & Sheppard on Savile Row. If any gentlemen’s fashion connoisseurs happen to stumble across this blog, please take a moment to share your comments on Sir Ralph Richardson’s clothing.

Here is another clip for those of you who dig Keats poetry and British accents.

  1. Those British accents are very much the ‘posh plum’ type and have faded even from some gentry these days. The suits are impeccably tailored though 🙂

I do enjoy the eclectic way in which your topics for blogging are born – thoroughly entertaining.
